Hi Scott,

I think that's a great start and exactly the kind of opportunity that Twitter creates. Another idea is to offer vendor specials or other related items - team jerseys and other accessories? You could have a contest among fans to see who can guess who will win, score the most runs in an inning, etc. or have Tweets from the players throughout the tournament.

The opportunities really are endless. Thanks for your comments!

I have been trying to figure Twitter out and also see the possibilities. Our compnay is sponsoiring a baseball team this year and also sponsoring a Baseball Tournament. One of the things we have been trying to figure out is how to connect people with the baseball team and how to connect people to the tournament. One idea is to post scores in real-time during the tournament (5 days) as well as during the baseball team's games during their season. If anyone else has any other bright ideas, I would love to hear them.
