Can&#039;t you just see the engines having a link/button after you search (and get local results only) to &quot;expand my results&quot; and then selecting state, region or country? Seems basic, but I&#039;m sure some form of this process will emerge.

I&#039;m having a hard time seeing #7 happen as well.  That said, I think things will morph into a middle ground of the two also.

My guess is that #8 is including anything mobile, cell, pda ... that will be a handheld device.  I see this one as being true, but that will lead to the change of a number of things if that is the case.
